An absolutely beautiful week of weather we had with a few nice rain events mixed in and an ample amount sunshine. This has everything growing again! The tomatoes and sweet corn have probably grown a foot this week. It’s amazing how happy things look right now with the rain including yours truly 😉
And now that we can concentrate on more then just irrigation, we found the time to get the onions weeded.
A big job as you can see!
The CSA share this week has a nice mix of new and returning items and will include:
Butterhead Lettuce
Zucchini ( baby size)
Cauliflower
Snow Peas
Sugar Snap Peas
Garlic Scapes
Hakurei Turnips
Kale or Swiss Chard
we may also have a substitution option of Broccoli or Cabbage
The herb and flower garden is really starting to shine. The cilantro, dill and cutting celery are now at a nice size. As well as lots of new flower varieties.
